Added Reading/Viewing List

I made a liar out of myself already and added something here right after I said I wasn't going to....  Take a look at the reading/viewing list --- any recommendations are much appreciated!!!

Responding to birthday wishes etc. I directed a lot of people here who were asking what I was up to these days.  Thinking that a few people might actually start looking at this blog now, I feel compelled to point out the following:

For the next few weeks, this blog will be totally dead and even more boring than it will be in about a month.  At that time, when I actually start the journey, on June 1, I hereby make a firm commitment to push the "interesting meter" up to at least reach the "other-people's-vacation-pictures-slideshow" level on the boring/interesting continuum.
